Bond Issues

From time to time, Rural Properties issues fixed interest Bonds for those looking for a predictable return. 

 

The 2026 Q1 Bond issue was via a private placement and aimed to increase the Company’s acquisition and development activities in Central Portugal. 

 

The Jan-March 2026 four-year 12% per annum Bond issue, with interest payable annually in arrears, had a nominal value of €100,000 each in registered, non-convertible form. Bondholders retain the right to request an early withdrawal after 24 months, subject to a four-month prior notice.

Involvement in a renovation project

This is how the company started; individual investors backing individual projects in return for a pre-defined share of the resulting profit when the property was sold.

 

Later on, as the company took on larger projects, small groups of investors were assembled on the same profit-share basis.  These opportunities are sent to those on the mailing list for newsletter updates.

Invest in Property

Our new bioclimatic range of beautifully crafted, cost-effective homes is being developed in association with Concepto-Studio and the first two edge-of-village sites have been acquired. By using NorgesHus, a supplier of wooden frame buildings based in Aveiro, the design to completion period is significantly reduced and the pricing kept at highly competitive levels. Ideal for occasional use, as full-time homes, or as multiple buy-to-let investment properties, the range will be launched late in 2026.
